About the event
When we meet a bee or any other creature, our attention snaps immediately to its eyes. There's something there that tells us this is where the story begins.
Eyes give us a sense of connection. They're how we understand what another creature notices, reacts to, and depends on. With bees, their eyes reveal a visual world built for speed, quick decisions and constant awareness – one that helps them find flowers, navigate under the sun and stay alert in a busy landscape. Once we understand how they see, their behavior starts to make a lot more sense.
Beyond their function, bee eyes are simply beautiful – rich in texture, pattern and color in ways we rarely get to appreciate.
